Data Engineer

What You Will Do:

1. Data Management and Storage:

• Work with various Azure data storage options, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Design scalable, performant, and cost-effective data storage systems that meet organisational requirements.
  
  

2. Data Integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load):

• Develop and implement data integration processes using tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Efficiently extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
  
  

3. Big Data and Analytics:

• Utilise big data technologies such as Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning applications.
  
  
  

About You:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and tools.
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
